Always love some 808s XD Great stuff!

Cyberdevil responds:

Good ear! :) And thanks man, despite those apparent errs in recording!

Super cool you can still do these on the road :D And now I want some big breakfast too! Great stuff!

Cyberdevil responds:

Hell yeah! :D The quality's not all as good as I hoped (brought a little plug-in 3,5 smartphone microphone with me), but it works. :) And man I am floored today too, those breakfast buffets...

Thinking of trying my hand at something similar this weekend though. At home. Might need to prep a bit in advance...

Lovely beat and rhymes. Really just felt so good together. Great stuff guys!

Cyberdevil responds:

Glad you liked this one too! :) Bit unconventional innit? Maybe I'm finding my style... which is... a plethora of different styles! XD

Whoa! Nice! Gonna be a challenge to top this in an overall track sense :D you've really got your work cut out for you this month XD Keep it up CD, and props to WyteNoiz on the instrumental too!

Cyberdevil responds:

Yeah. XD Pressure on writing up something of equal caliber again too... even if the lyrics weren't as long as they may seem thanks to the slow pace and structure. Hooks and all. It's that hiphop hustle 11!

Woot :D Thanks for the shout-out CD! Hope everyone enjoys the track and our collab "Head Above Water" from the Two Years On album! And AH! So that's what the crickets mentioned in that acapella was pertaining to! It all makes sense now :D

Cyberdevil responds:

Good call mentioning the track by name, don't know why I didn't do that above. :) Everybody better check that out for sure! And all the other ones.

That was awesome! Great musical chemistry between you guys and super hope to hear more in the future :D

Cyberdevil responds:

Cheers! :) More by the two of us? The show hosting and merch bit wasn't all serious but hmm... who knows! Spontaneous collaborations are pretty fun. Really gets the inspiration sparking.

I just realised that you're doing a rap a day instead of your usual inktober drawings! That's pretty darn cool :D Another fun verse with this one :) Wondering, are these are all one take recordings (apart from the overdubbed adlibs)? It'd be cool to make an EP/album from all these clips (add beats etc...) :D Keep up the great work!

Cyberdevil responds:

Yupp yupp. :) Though I'm doing drawings too, will just be uploading those in weekend batches as time goes. With audio always showing up in the Portal it'd be a flood if I did the same here, plus I feel like if I don't actually put these out on a day by day basis y'all might not really feel it's a legit commitment. ;) All the more pressure but all the more accomplishing if I manage all the way, hoping I don't run into any roadblocks...

Yes indeed, one take indeed (apart from adlibs)! And that album idea would be pretty awesome. :) Added beats hmm... there be some unorthodox rhythm switches in these sometimes! Might take a real musical production master to manage something like that *hint hint*

Lovely flow CD! Great to hear your voice on NG again :D Keep it up!

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks man, all recorded with a Shure too y'know. ;) Still need to figure out the perfect reverb and all, but this month oughta allow for plenty of practice there...

Great sound design, and the mix sounded sweet too. Apart from possibly being longer with some more variation, the only thing I can think of which could improve the arrangement is during the drop to add a sine (possibly triangle) wave sub-bass doubling the high lead melody a few 8ves down so that the track doesn't lose its bass presence when the growls aren't there and keeps the sub energy high throughout the drop. That's the only thing which felt missing to me. Other than that I think it's golden! Great work!

Spline-1337 responds:

Thanks for your feedback! I will take into account all your wishes in my EP album, which will be released soon

Amazing and beautiful vocals and composition! I can really feel the emotion in this! Looking into the mixing, one thing you could do to improve is to have less bass frequencies on the bass guitar which comes in at 1:04. The subs/lows on that float a bit too high above the rest of the mix, but other than that I thought the piece was awesome. Keep up the great work, and looking forward to hearing more :)

Troisnyx responds:

Hiya~ Figured I'd respond to this to let you know that I have a proper mix and master of this at last. Basses still do feel high but it feels like there's less mud.
