Join me on Thursday 15th April at 8pm BST for the launch of Jabun's 3rd album "Generation Supernova" on YouTube!

Hi everyone and hope you're having a great April so far!

It's only 3 more days until Jabun's 3rd album "Generation Supernova" is finally released to the world, and I've just opened the premier page for the launch on my HurpADervish YouTube channel! Come join me for the countdown, a chat and the short launch announcement teaser video at 8pm BST on Thursday 15th April if you can make it, and hope to see some familiar faces there!

Generation Supernova will be released to the world as soon as the premier starts, and you can read all about it (credits, track descriptions, special thanks, and more) on the Bandcamp page where you can listen to the pre-release single "Turing Machine" and pre-order the album now. Check it out below if you haven't had a chance already:

Generation Supernova is a 37+ minute collection of 4 tracks exploring generative music methods in the studio. Each track utilises a carefully designed system set up to generate a never-repeating and ever evolving soundscape which was conducted and guided to build an emotional and developing journey from the first note to the last.

Generation Supernova was a fun and rewarding exploration into generative music methods, with each piece very much the result of the unexpected fruits of conducted chaotic experiments in the studio, much like the 15-4-20 album. Whether you sit down to listen intently, have it on in the background while doing something else, or simply immerse yourself in the sounds, I hope you enjoy these semi-ambient, generative experimental soundscapes, from the strange early months of 2020.

That's it for this post and I hope you're as excited as I am for the big launch on Thursday! No doubt it'll be a busy week for me sorting out the final checks and preperations for the release but I can't wait to show all this music to you! Until then, hope you have a great week to come and thanks as always for supporting my music in all the ways you can! Take care, all the best, and see you at the premier!

Just might tune in when that time comes. :) Hope the premiere goes well!

Cheers CD! It'll only be a short video, then the album will be streaming in full and available to purchase on Bandcamp :) Hope you enjoy it!

No live stream and commentary and all huh. :P A bit more pressureless to really tune in with just a quick video though, looking forward!

Nah, there's SO much admin/promo work to do at the moment of launch that I'd not be able to concentrate for a full stream of the album (chatting and the such), but a quick launch announcement with the countdown is always fun and low pressure as you say :)
