Loving the vocal layering on this one! Was it triple or quad layered (including adlibs)? Beat was nice and chill too. Great work peeps!

Cyberdevil responds:

Thank you Nick. :) Happy with how this one turned out too, just some notes I need to hit better. It's quad layered, two full takes that worked well enough together to have in unison, and then two adlib ones, one a little bassier/one a little higher. Thanks for listening in again!

Great to hear some more FoD on this! Mighty thundering synthetic taikos with semi-sung smooth rhymes from CD! And still on the road (or are you back from the wild)? Maybe it's the beat which hides it but this sounds much more like your normal mic set-up CD! Good job!

Cyberdevil responds:

Taikos huh, picking up some new percussive terminology here. :) Yeaaah I just got back yesterday, good ear, yesterday was recorded with the regular mic too but probably a bit more rushed/not so good! Thank you mighty much man!

Smooth and fast flows and some extra hitting lyrics today. A third the way through the month and challenge too! Still going strong. Keep it up CD!

Cyberdevil responds:

Whoop whoop! Thanks for the complete catch-up session too Jabun, listened through these once again while responding... and the days really are flying huh! Doesn't feel like a full third's gone by already!

Definitley hearing the less ideal set-up but it's not getting in the way of the message so all good by me! Wondering where you recorded this one, the ambience has an interesting texture :)

Cyberdevil responds:

Mmm when I uploaded this I actually felt like this one sounded waaay better than the last one, but speaker output via phone's pretty different too apparently! XD Tried a grungier filter with this one... they're both recorded in the same space, the main room in the cottage, though I used the 'Punchy Rap' filter with the last one and the 'Post ???' with this.

Phone recording came out nice and clear! Roomy and less direct but not as much as I expected :) Lovely flows as usual and a nice coda to the verse too! Enjoy the trip!

Cyberdevil responds:

I played around with a couple Bandlab filters recording these too, they really worked wonders. :) Handy little app for stuff like this. Pushes loudness mostly but seems to make everything sound just a little richer too, though still a little much sss's and all, wonder how close it's possible to get this to the 'real thing' if you master the settings... anyhow thanks again! Much appreciate allathese notes and rays of praise. And hope your trip was ditto days of grace!

Fast passages filling in all those syllables! Nicely done CD! Enjoy the trip!

Cyberdevil responds:

Thank you JB! Hope you had a good one too!

Short, sweet and experimental! Not sure if there might have been a little bit of clipping on the output of this one, but fun nonethesless :) Keep it up peeps!

Thanks for your review dude!

Cyberdevil responds:

Yeaaah might've gotten just a bit too amped up on this one. XD Thanks again Jabun!

Catching up with these after some time away. Really liked the flow on this one. It felt very remenicent of your INK19 flows in a great way. Classic and reflective! Good job CD!

Cyberdevil responds:

Welcome back Nick! Appreciate this stream of reviews too! Thank you. Pretty proud of the annunciative clarity and all on this one too.

Keeping up the pace and bar with these! An ominous and tense opening and some face paced flows to follow! Tight adlibs / backing too! The instrumental really gave me Ghost In The Shell: Stane Alone Complex vibes! Great stuff peeps and keep it up!

Cyberdevil responds:

Thanks man. :) Loved the vibe with this too, though realize recording ain't all perfect. Will do!!!

Despite it being acapella, the flow is so solid that it feels like I can hear an invisible (inaudible) beat behind it! Nice psychoacoustics there! Looking forward to day 4+ CD :D

Cyberdevil responds:

Hehe, might've missed or ill-timed a few tones with that subtle psychoacoustic layer intended to somewhat add such background structure in lack thereof, but I do like these types of effects, and a good flow... thanks for the compliments; stopping by again Nick! Four's in progress!
