It's been a while since I've made a post. Been really busy with various music projects, but it's finally started paying so I'm very grateful for it!

ANYWAYS, Another animation I did the music for has finally been released by my good friend Anthony Houde :D It's another children's animation about Pirates :D Please take a gander and help support our little animation team by purchasing a download if you liked the song :D Here's a YouTube link :D

In other news, I should have a cover song coming out soon with one of the voice actresses I'm workiing with Sheila :D Looks to be good fun and it's very nearly done, just waiting for files to mixdown.

Future projects? The Skyreef game is going underway. Should have a trailer out for that soon (The voice sounds amazing XD), and I got a s**tload of music still to write/produce XD. Best get to it. I should also be releasing more animations soon (though a little smaller) with The Pirate Alphabet team too, though it's gonna be nice to have a little break.

Finally! I've been picked up for music for a pokemon parody animation! :D Really looking forward to this, as it'll be another challenge and a change of genre to what I'm used to XD

Loads more stuff going on, but I think that's all I'll say for now XD

Heheh! 2 weeks seems to take ages to roll around!

First thing on the list of updates, I've started up 2 new YouTube channels for my music projects. I figured rather than just having all my mumbo jumbo in one place, I'd separate it out so that people can subscribe to only what they're interested in.

The first channel is for my Ska/poppunk project Better Than The Book. You can check it out at http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialBTTBMusic. There is also a bandcamp page where you can purchase the One Small Step EP too. http://betterthanthebook.bandcamp.com/

The second channel is for my electronic music project under the name Jabun. You can check that out at http://www.youtube.com/user/OfficialJabunMusic. I've also made a bandcamp for this page too http://jabun.bandcamp.com/. Unlike Better Than The Book however, most of these tracks are free (as are some on my soundcloud), but I've left you the option of making a donation if you wish to (also you get to chose your preferred format :D). Any money I can make from music goes into fuelling my studio so I can make even better music for you.

If you like the music, please feel free to subscribe or support the projects by downloading the music. It's always a confidence boost to know that people out there are actually listening XD

On that topic, I've also released a new track "Distance" which is available here. It's an ambient track for my girlfriend which sort of came out from my feelings of both the happy and sad parts about being in a long distance relationship (as well as experimenting with new sounds). I'm hoping that downloads for this will help towards the travel costs to see her (or at least that's the idea), so if you like it, please download a copy; it'd mean a lot :D.

In other news, there's been some delays with the latest animation collaboration, but my job on the audio is pretty much done :D. We hope to be releasing it at the end of the month. Hope you peeps like Pirates!

Yo Newgrounds :D

Well I FINALLY got permission from my old bandmates to release this EP of revamped recordings, and it's free right here on Newgrounds :D. The EP is a collection of tracks by my first ever band "Crow's Wing" from back when I was 14-18 (long time ago now XD), which were recorded back in 2007-8 and released here on Newgrounds by my brother Mimeo. Now, 5 years later, and with much more experience producing I've gone back to make them sound a little bit more commercially acceptable XD. No new audio was recorded, just a heck of alot of mixing! I hope you guys enjoy it:

Where to start! These last few weeks have been megahecktic!

First of all! I've uploaded some new tracks :D The first is a song by a friend of mine Clare Jeffrey which I produced called "60 Days". You can check her out on Soundcloud if you'd like for more of her musical endeavours! Now since I had all the recordings at my disposal, I decided I'd take a break to do a remix too. Here are the results: "60 Days [Jabun Orchestral Mix]" Hope you guys like it :D

On a slightly different note, things have gotten pretty hectic in other areas of my life, so I've unfortunately had to cut down on some projects. Here's an 8-bit orchestral piece I was doing for a game project: "Piggyback Ride". It's a shame it couldn't be in the game, but oh well such is life...

Meanwhile away from Newgrounds I've been working on music for an upcoming game SKYREEF! It's still in the works, but I should be recording some guitars with xIIInon for it soon. Here's my first contribution to the game, a boss theme for a guy called Crowley. For updates on how the game's progressing feel free to follow the development on Twitter! It's sure to be alot of fun :3

Another cool thing to happen in the last few weeks is an animation by Ektinkt I did some music for The Dinosaur Alphabet hit over 100,000 views on YouTube! (145k as I'm writing). We're already working on a sequel for the near future! Hope you guys like pirates! XD

Lastly, expect a mass upload of music in the near future :D Over the past month I've been revamping some recordings from my teen years by my first ever band Crow's Wing. You can find the original versions on my brother's old and dusty account mimeo, but expect to hear new and improved mixes of "Philosophical Moped", "Black Ice", "Which Way's South" and "Free of Routine" in the near future XD

Oh! Thanks to all the people who voted for me in the Epiphone Coronet design contest, it really meant alot :D No prizes this time around, but 4th place in the UK is pretty darn cool, and I beat my brother which is the main thing XD Cheers!

RIGHT! Back to work! There is much to do XD

Yo peeps!

Much has been up recently, so there hasn't been any uploads as of late... I assure you I AM working on stuff, though alot of it is collaborative work so I don't have much control over it's release date... oh well.

In the mean time, I've been doing a fair bit of horror sound design! Here's a little taste from my soundcloud "Don't poop yourself". Ok, so I admit they're not all actually scary sounds, but I'm trying to challenge myself more in the sound design department! If any of you want me to try and make some sounds just leave a comment below and I'll see what I can muster! If you'd like me to help with sound design in a game or animation work, send me a message and I'll do my best to lend a hand :D

Yo Newgrounds peeps,

Uploading's been slow as of recent due to many side projects going on, but rest assured I'm still hard at work on audio for y'all. Been playing a little audio tennis with xIIInon for our latest collaboration, though there's no concrete ETA on that as he's pretty busy (and it's currently his serve). On my end, I've been working on some game music for Skyreef as well as more electronic stuff and a new track with my brother Eamon which is sure to be a blast! Think "Andrew WK" meets "Angels and Airwaves". It's also the 10th aniversary of forming my first band "Crow's Wing" which up until around 2008 released music here on Newgrounds. Although we aren't making music together anymore, we're still great friends and to commemorate the 10th anniversary, I've been working on revamping the old recordings with 5 years worth of music tech experience. 2 down 2.5 to go so far. I expect to be uploading those soon :D

ANYWAYS, ONTO THE MAIN TOPIC :D I NEED YOUR HELP. I recently entered a guitar design competition with Epiphone and need to get votes in order to quallify for the next round of judging. My design is pictured below, and if you like it, I'd make my day if you'd take a few seconds to vote for it HERE. My bro also did his own entry so feel free to support him too. There isn't a limit to how many people you can vote for, so go wild if you wish XD. The winners (one from USA, Canada and Europe) will get their guitar designs custom made with their artwork :D. Long time no hear!

I just finished recording a new Better Than The Book cover song "Heartbeats" by The Knife. Last week I finished my first animation collab with eKtiNkT. It was great fun to work on (I just did the credits music, but it was still uber fun). In other news, I'm going away for a week so I shant be doing much for a bit. This week I was working on a cover song for the Better Than The Book project and it's sounding kickass. It's just in the finalising stage (and I need to draw some artwork for it) but I think you guys are gonna love it.
