I made an EP :D. It's for my skapunk/poppunk project "Better Than The Book" and is available for streaming in all its gapless glory on Youtube. If you like it, it's available for purchase on Bandcamp where you can pick up the individual tracks too :D There's a demo version of the first 2 tracks merged on newgrounds here too as well as an alternative 8-bit version of leaving home too :D Hope you enjoy it.

Yo peeps,

I made another soundtracky track "See Ya Later". It's really just a rearrangment of "Closing Scene", but I think this gives it a lovely different feel. When I hear this I imagine being in a wooden floor house, early on a sunny summer sunday, tiptoeing tired around the house before making my way outside for a day of adventure. Think something in a Hayao Miyazaki film :D

I've also made a ReverbNation profile if you want to check it out. It links alot of me audio and video stuff which is pretty useful :D

Future? I've kinda messed up my right index finger so stuff's been a little slow this week, but I'm currently working on a new track with xIIInon which should be out soonish. I'm still planning to do yet another arrangement around the Closing Scene / See Ya Later Theme, but we'll see when I get around to working on it :D

I went for something a little different this time, still soundtracky, but in a different way. Anyways here it is :D "Closing Scene". Imagine this in the final scene from an episode of some animation, right before the credits. I might have to develop this theme as I'm liking it very much. Anyway hope you guys enjoy it :D

On another note, anybody want any 8-bit remixes done (or have any requests)? I'm been doing a fair few recently and wondered whether anyone'd on newgrounds wants anything done. Ideally I'd like to make a bit of cash by doing it, but my services are here if anyone needs them. Alternatively, if peeps want a musical box version of something I can try that too. Meanwhile, I've been a little ill as of late and my left ear is kinda blocked which has made production last week next to impossible DX (But it's getting better). Nevertheless I really wanted to do something and 8-bit music is a good way to go when your ears ain't so great.

Meanwhile on the collab front, it looks like some of my music with xIIInon is gonna be animated :D. On top of that, some of my own music has been picked up on by dieseling, a very talented animator, and after a grand skype chat it looks like there'll be a collab to come soon. It's sounding swick!

WoooHooo!

Another cinematic collab with the great xIIInon. This latest track "Combat" was an awesome project to record for, this time busting heavy electric guitar riffs within an orchestral setting. It was great to work with xIIInon again, and it certainly won't be the last of our team efforts! The project gave me some nice practice experimenting with recording methods for heavy guitars and I'll be using similar techniques in the future to rip heavy licks in my other musical endeavours!

Meanwhile, it seems that I turned 23 last week... kinda scary, but I guess it was bound to happen at some point XD. What's set for the future? Well, I've been getting back on the electronic front and spent a good afternoon sampling the sounds of fire last week! A tune has started to weave its way into existence by the name of "Arsonist" so prepare for some (hopefully soon) Nu-metal Orchestral Drumstep (you'll see what I mean XD). SOON!

Yo, peeps! It's been a while.

So recently I've been doing lots of collab stuff, and here comes the next piece of fruit of my labour: "Happy Uncertainty", an Electro House track composed by Mattuiop with me on vocals (I also wrote the lyrics). Matt's been a great guy to work with and we hope to be collaborating again in the future. Please check out his other tracks :D

Some more stuff in the pipeline is another orchestral adventure with xIIInon and I've finally got round to working on my own stuff again too (Horray!). More tracks to come soon. In the mean time, check out the loops and stuff on my soundcloud for a taster of what I've been up to and what's to come XD.

Also, my band Lights, Camera, Attraction! should be hitting the studio at the end of the month which I'm turbo excited for. It's been too long since I produced a full band! We've also picked up the pace with regards gigging which is also fun. Not long now until the record deal (Finger's crossed XD)

Finally I'd like to say a big thanks to all the peeps who've been listening to my various projects. Each positive comment really brings a smile to my face and make the next project all the more exciting. You guys make all the effort and stress worth it :D

Last week was another full of epic recording for xIIInon. He invited me to rerecord the guitars for his MAC13 entry "Everything We Stand For" and after a little remastering and exchanging of audio, we are please to present the remastered version. Also, thanks to everyone for their support with our first collab "Mountains Of Gold" which last week made it into the featured audio section of the front page. It means so much to us :D

Another thanks goes to the people who supported me in the Avid and Talenthouse competition. Not sure when the results get published, but whatever happens, I had fun and got alot of nice comments on my music.

Future? Well, this week was also busy with recording vocals for mattuiop. I can't give an ETA on our collab yet, but it certainly shaping up to be an exciting venture! Meanwhile I'll be working on some more of my own audio for y'all and will hopefully get some more stuff out soon.

Well, It's been a heckabusy week, but after a lot of hard work, xIIInon and I are pleased to present our first collaborative effort "Mountains of Gold" It was great fun to work on, and hopefully, xIIInon and I will be making more collab works for you all soon. Enjoy!

Y hello thar peeps!

Here's a little 8-bit tune I made for the March Monthly Audio Contest. I had alot of fun making it as it's my first original (non-remix) 8-bit song. I hope you guys enjoy it.

On top of this everythings getting pretty busy with regards music work at the moment. I've been working on my first collab with XIIINON, a very talented cinematic composer who buzzed me after I uploaded Mayhem Market. We should have our collab (mostly his) track up soon and there is the great possibily of more tracks to follow. As well as this, I've also got on board with mattuiop to help with an electro house project (It's sounding very tasty). I'll let you know how these go as they progress. It's certainly exciting times at the moment!

Finally, I mentioned in a few of my previous posts, I've entered a competition with Avid and TalentHouse for one of my tracks to be mixed and mastered at Abbey Road studios.
