Thank you thank you, hope the rest of 'em don't disappoint either! Cheers JB!
Daaaaymn! Hardhitting and lovely sound design / choice of sounds! And you only spent 2.5 hours on this?! Super impressed Larry! Keep up the great work! I gotta up my electronic music game (and speed)! Inspiring :)
Really great stuff peeps! Always a great pair up you two on a track! Loving those formanty filter sweeps Larry and tight and hard hitting rhymes Cyber! That glitchy breakdown was an unexpected but fantastic turn too. I need to see that movie again. I saw it once back in my teen years. Very trippy if I remember. Very distinct art style too!
Woot woot! :) Formanty huh, still picking up on new audial terminology with your reviews too! Glad you liked this man, and same! Remember watching A Scanner Darkly while I was still in school, and haven't seen it since... remember visuals more so than plot, but very trippy indeed.
I remember it more so for how it was made though really, the rotoscoping, frame by frame animation over actual footage. Visually I don't think I was a fan, and yet I don't really remember any other movies from that time as vividly that I can think of now... they really managed to make a lasting impression after all! Wonder if I'd appreciate the premise more now than I did then...
Horray you're back to it! Looking forward to another jam packed month of rhymes and hoping to throw a beat your way again this year too. It's a great opener!
Hey hey, and you're turning in this year too! :) Appreciate it! My vocals are never as warmed up as I wish they were when these kick off, but better and better hopefully ...
Definitely hope we get something going this year too, hmu whenever. :)
Really nice synth sounds and use of echo on this track. Really enjoyed the rapid hi hats too XD Great job!
Nicely done larrynachos! I'm loving the punchy subbass and the '90s playstation soundtrack vibes (especially in the drums and ambience) :D Really kicks it up a notch around the 2 minute mark too from chill to hardhitting crunch too! Great stuff!
Lol the Haruhi GIF too XD That brings be back... Keep up the great work! :D
Dang peeps... that was a beautiful finale to a great month! Deep and reflexive lyrics and rhymes from CD with a hard-hitting as it was atmopheic beat from Aalasteir (Super cool to see you in the collabs this month)! A round of applause for a great INKtober 2023 roundup :D Hope to see everyone back for another round next year!
Absolutely you're right! Massive round of applause for the INKtober 2023 roundup :D
Ah you know each other from before too? :D Thank you thank you! Thanks for sticking with 'em through the highs and lows and colds and all that shizzle too! Next year!!!
Lovely stuff peeps! Great vocal layering and lyrics. Loved those handdrumming breaks mixed with the hardheating beats, the synths, the vocal(?) chops towards the end too :D Great stuff CD and JH!
One day left CD :D It's been a blast this month!
Thank you JB! A little experimental layers and effects here in lack of a more monolithic sound, didn't really get the effect I was hoping for but it's aight ain't it! Improvements maybe to come!
Yeaaah final stretch! Thanks for checking in every single stop of the way this month/year too!!!
Big beats and wubby basses and plucky synths; Great lyrics and flow! Everything you need! Epic! Great job peeps :D
Wubby basses indeed! :D Wonder where that term might've originated from; if ever I heard it before this.. thank you thank you!
Man oh man this was worth the wait :D Definitely did it justice CD! Smooth and delicious chill oldschool flows on this one with punch and rhyming finesse! Great job! And FRONTPAGED too :D Apologies for the delay in checking it out this time, I was on nightshift XD
*phew* man collabing with both Standing bros definitely ups delivery pressure a bit! XD Glad you liked it! Whoop whoop! And ah that's where you were, I should've known! :D
