Yo peeps!

Last week was another full of epic recording for xIIInon. He invited me to rerecord the guitars for his MAC13 entry "Everything We Stand For" and after a little remastering and exchanging of audio, we are please to present the remastered version. Also, thanks to everyone for their support with our first collab "Mountains Of Gold" which last week made it into the featured audio section of the front page. It means so much to us :D

Another thanks goes to the people who supported me in the Avid and Talenthouse competition. Not sure when the results get published, but whatever happens, I had fun and got alot of nice comments on my music.

Future? Well, this week was also busy with recording vocals for mattuiop. I can't give an ETA on our collab yet, but it certainly shaping up to be an exciting venture! Meanwhile I'll be working on some more of my own audio for y'all and will hopefully get some more stuff out soon.

Well, It's been a heckabusy week, but after a lot of hard work, xIIInon and I are pleased to present our first collaborative effort "Mountains of Gold" It was great fun to work on, and hopefully, xIIInon and I will be making more collab works for you all soon. Enjoy!

Y hello thar peeps!

Here's a little 8-bit tune I made for the March Monthly Audio Contest. I had alot of fun making it as it's my first original (non-remix) 8-bit song. I hope you guys enjoy it.

On top of this everythings getting pretty busy with regards music work at the moment. I've been working on my first collab with XIIINON, a very talented cinematic composer who buzzed me after I uploaded Mayhem Market. We should have our collab (mostly his) track up soon and there is the great possibily of more tracks to follow. As well as this, I've also got on board with mattuiop to help with an electro house project (It's sounding very tasty). I'll let you know how these go as they progress. It's certainly exciting times at the moment!

Finally, I mentioned in a few of my previous posts, I've entered a competition with Avid and TalentHouse for one of my tracks to be mixed and mastered at Abbey Road studios. Title says it all. Now that I've figured out the audio submission thingy on newgrounds, I'll be uploading more often. This latest track is a chillstep one called "Apollo". Ok, so after a good few months of raging at the audio portal upload system, I finally found out why it didn't seem to be taking my files. Turns out I changed the way I encoded my mp3s just before Christmas and Newgrounds didn't like the new encoding. Also there appears to be a filename character limit, which screwed me over on my tracks with stupid long titles! Nevertheless, I finally got round to doing a mass upload for the full songs on my soundcloud. I may upload some loops later as I have LOADS, but for now, here are the full songs:

So I really want to get into sound design, like foley and soundtracks and stuff, but I'm lacking inspiration or projects I can help with. I was in a very soundtracky mood this week so here's an acousticy orchetral piece I whipped up called Mayhem Market. Imagine playfully racing through a crowed fantasy market with a good friend, rival or the love of your life, perhaps being chased by some half-wit bad guys or the fuzz! If I could do this as my job, I would be sooo happy XD
